HPCA were pleased to welcome family and friends to unveil a memorial bench for Sally Turff. Sally was one of the founding members of HPCA and along with her late husband Roger, was instrumental in firstly resisting the site being developed as a supermarket in the 1990s and later setting up the community association and creating the Doorstep Green. Thanks to Sally’s family for funding the bench and coming from across the country to commemorate her significant contributions to the Doorstep Green and many other initiatives in King’s Lynn.
